HOME With the Lord!

"My GRANDfather"
By Lisa Mast

Grand is the perfect word to describe my grandfather Everett Curtis Giles.

Now that he is in heaven and reunited with his wife Nancy I am flooded with a bouquet of memories.

Grandpa was a very outgoing vibrant personality. Never shy, he was always ready to meet and greet. He never knew a stranger and caught many off guard by greeting them with a big hug!

His life was a rich testimony displayed for us. I can recall many times early in the morning that he would be up before anyone sitting in his chair reading the Bible and praying through the church prayer list. He studied the word and learned it and taught it. I know he taught Sunday School many times and for awhile he preached on Sunday Mornings for Thousand Trails campground.

My personal fondest memories are of his singing the hymns of the faith. Anytime I recall being a passenger in his car while growing up he was always singing. He always had a song of praise in his heart! The last time I got to visit with him he sang a hymn to my children and I will always cherish that. I love you grandpa and some day in heaven we’ll meet again and I know you’ll have a big hug for me.

Grandpa's Funeral and Burial will be March 30th in Kissimee, FL.

Congratulations, Jay, Caroline and Hannah Moriah!

How would you like to receive something like this in the mail? Caroline sent out the good news in a creative way by sending a Valentines Day card with this picture inside! To say we were excited is an understatement! JJ & Kayla are excited about another cousin to play with. Congratulations Jay and Caroline. For those who may not know, Jay is Lisa's Brother.
